BioMy ships are Ron/Hermione, Lily/James, Sirius/Remus, Dumbledore/Minerva, Snape/Lucius, Neville/Giant Squid, Jack/Giant Squid, Sparrabeth, Norrington/Jack, Gibbs/Mr. Cotton's parrot, Doctor Who/Rose, etc.
My absolute fave fic is called Predictability, by Y. Kuang, known on these boards as likeatuesday. It's the only Lily/James fic I've ever read that portrayed 3-d characters and wasn't mushy, sentimental, obvious, or over-the-top. Ironically, it's also unpredictable.
Some of my favorite authors are Anne Rice, Tom Robbins, Ken Kesey, and Francesca Lia Block. Some of the best books I ever read were Uglies, V for Vendetta, and Equus (though technically it's a play). My favorite movies are Pirates of the Caribbean, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and Across the Universe. I have recently fallen in love with this movie called Silence Becomes You. My favorite actors are Gary Oldman, Johnny Depp, Daniel Radcliffe, and Errol Flynn- and a recently added Joe Anderson, who looks like Kurt Cobain. My favorite actresses are Shirley McClaine, Cate Blanchett, Parker Posey, Katherine Hepburn, and Kiera Knightley. I hated Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and the last 7 pages of Harry Potter Book 7.
I have reddish=brown hair and really pasty skin and am tallish. I've been a vegetarian since the fourth grade and am going vegan eventually. Pet peeves: Myspace account owners, mysogynist fratboys (thanks for the spelling correction!), materialism, when people talk on their cellphones in public, reality tv, celebrity magazines, people who treat me like a kindergartener, math class, republicans, and Paris Hilton, who seems to embody all of these things and more. I love current tv, the ACLU, old movies on TCM, a good rivalry, a hot bath, enviromentalists, and when it rains outside.
